Nîmes

Drawn after one of the sculpted goddesses on the Fontaine Pradier in Nîmes. She looks away sullenly, with a mirror in her right hand. I drew her as I was waiting for my train to Arles. I don’t usually like drawing in public, but the sound of the cascading water and the hot sun on my skin made me feel really calm.

I hope to make a series out of drawings from sculptures.
