Memory Map

A map in my mind, of all the places I’ve lived and hold dear memories from.

In pink are where I spent my childhood, yellow as a teenager, and blue as an adult — once I turned 18, I pretty much stayed put.

I made this drawing following the Memory Map prompt for the #30daysofsketch challenge, but also imagined it as an editorial illustration for an article about third-culture kids (see below).
